SOMATIC ENERGY THERAPY

As a professionally trained Somatic Energy Therapist, you will be equipped to facilitate healing on all levels of a client's being: body, mind, and soul.

Somatic Energy Therapy is a hands-on treatment that incorporates the fundamentals of Reiki and Cranio Sacral Therapy. In addition to these techniques, Somatic Energy Therapy practitioners have a deep understanding of the mind and the journey of the soul, as well as a clear experience of their own being and how to foster safe connections and transmit health and wholeness to their clients.

At CHI, we offer a multidisciplinary training program for practitioners in the natural health and healing professions, including those who have never worked with clients before. Our program takes students to a deeper level of their work and transforms the way they work with their clients. Join us and become a confident and competent therapist, capable of facilitating healing on all levels of the being.

A COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING COMPRISING OF 5 MODULES & 4 PRACTITIONER DAYS SPREAD OVER 7 MONTHS

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

MODULE ONE

CONNECTION

In our first module, we form a connection as a group by learning what it takes to create a connection that is safe and secure.

Taking time, we discover our own ways of attachment through experiential and thought-provoking practices. Connection to our future clients will therefore always have this level of safety.

MODULE TWO

BODY

Rudolf Steiner once said, "What the therapist can perceive nature can relieve." In our body module, we will learn how to listen to the body by learning anatomy in a fun and experiential way.

Being with the organicity and wisdom of the body, supporting it in its natural journey towards health..

MODULE THREE

MIND

In this module, we learn what makes us tick, what makes us react, and how our early life has created patterns of behaviour called archetypes.

Archetypes such as the perfectionist, the rescuer, and the addict used to control life, now become the controllers of our life. We learn how to listen to and clear the archetypes' limiting beliefs. To bring the unconscious into the light.

We explore working with the inner child/teen, and how to heal trauma and stress.

MODULE FOUR

SPIRIT

In our journey through the whole of the being, we finish by exploring the greater self. Quantum physics agrees there is only one energy. It creates form through varying frequencies. In this module explore the dimensions of this one-ness. Experience the witness self, between lives, past lives, ancestors, guides, soul contracts, timelines and future selves.

MODULE FIVE

THE THERAPIST & GRADUATION

In this module we get down to practicalities, learning what it means to be a therapist, and how to keep yourself and others safe. Exploring projection, transference, and countertransference. Finding out who you are as a therapist and who your divine right clients are. Creating your vision and mission. How to market yourself and how to run your business.

Finally we make the journey towards graduation, is a journey that deserves honoring. Throughout all of our training, deep practices and rituals will regularly be experienced. Taking our steps from student to therapist is honoured with a beautiful day of integrating all that you have worked towards through the training.

STUDENT PRACTITIONER DAYS

Between each module, our Student Practitioner Days offer hands-on application of new skills.

These days provide a chance to practice as a practitioner with invited student clients.

Each day concludes with a group sharing session to maximize the learning experience.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

It is not a requirement that you are already a therapist before you start this course, though in our experience many will have already done some form of wellness training. It is however a requirement that that is where you want to end up.

This is professional training with time spent guiding you to become an extraordinary therapist.
